All pens are $40.00 and come with a plastic pen case. You may wish to upgrade the case from plastic to a leatherette case for $7.50 or to a wooden case for $12.50.
I must admit that this area of turning is new to me. I was challenged by a friend to delve into this and have happily found it quite satisfying. Pens can also be “solid” or “segmented”. Not only the choice of wood but also the angle of the grain can make a big difference to how a pen turns out.
The pen kits that I have been using all use Cross refills which are readily available. Many people have asked about laser engraving and I do not offer this as of yet. I am afraid that I am enough of a wood “snob” that I can not bring myself to take away from the natural beauty of the wood by burning a name in the side. I take great pride in my choice of wood and how I present the grain patterns. I suggest that if you do need this done to chose one of the pens with a larger clip and have the metal engraved by an experienced Jeweler.
